The 49erFX reached a significant milestone today when the 100th rig was produced at the Southern Spars factory in Sri Lanka. The team took a break to celebrate their achievement.
49er Class President, Marcus Spillane, had this to say, “We couldn’t be happier with how the team has performed over these first few months. Demand has been very strong so there have been pressures on the production team to keep up. The initial allocated supply was only meant to be 50 rigs, we’ve already passed double that and they plan on hitting 137 by the end of the month. It’s simply amazing!”
